Efficient pre-treatment systems are essential to remove VOCs, siloxanes, and other contaminants effectively. At UGS, we combine expertise and experience to design reliable, cost-efficient pre-treatment solutions tailored to the specific needs of each landfill.

Comprehensive systems for reliable gas processing

Our comprehensive solutions include regenerative TSA systems, adsorption filters, and biological scrubbing systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with environmental standards.

Innovative hybrid technology for high-value biomethane

One of the key challenges with LFG is its typically high nitrogen (N₂) concentration, which reduces the heating value of biomethane when using conventional technologies. To address this, UGS has developed an innovative two-stage hybrid system that combines membrane and our unique NRU (Nitrogen rejection unit). This advanced design effectively removes CO₂ and N₂ from LFG, delivering a high heating value and achieving industry-leading CH₄ recovery rates.

Our solutions range from 5,000 to 10,000 Nmh/h upgrading capacity. UGS has designed and installed 3 LFG upgrading systems, totaling 700 million kWh RNG produced from landfills in USA.
